Changing/Managing Pages and Albums

Managing the Home page

The Home Page is the first page a visitor generally sees and serves as the entry point for your site.

The following actions are available for editing/managing the Home Page:

Managing the Calendar Page

The Calendar Page is where your scheduled calendar events are (automatically) displayed.

The following actions are available for adding or changing general content on the Calendar Page:

To change event information, click on Calendar on the top menu bar.

Managing the Calendar Archive Page

The Calendar Archive Page is where your past calendar events are displayed.

Managing Custom Pages

Custom pages can contain text, image, audio/video, and hyperlink content. See 'Add New Content'.

Managing Photo Albums

A Photo Album is a group of pages indexed by date and subject where you may organize multiple photos, titles, and captions.

An Audio/Video Album is a group of web pages to organize multiple streaming video and audio files by subject, along with titles, descriptions, and lyrics.

Advanced Settings


Advanced Settings allow you to change properties of the webpages that are not content-related, such as navigation text, title and meta tags, and even redirect the page to a different URI within your PAW site, or on other websites.

Please see the table below for a full description of these fields and their purposes. Note that some fields marked with an asterisk (*) will only appear on specific pages, such as the Photo Album Page.




Item: Action:
Photo Orientation * This affects how multiple photos and their titles and captions will appear on a given Photo Album Page.
Hide Year Heading * This setting allows you to hide the year by which all photos in the Photo Album are organized.
Absolute URI This shows the absolute URI of the current page (as a hyperlink).
Webpage Name and Menu Button Text Enter the page's name in this field. This name will also be the name displayed on the navigation bar on each page.
Title Tag This is the text that appears at the top of the webpage. This field is also used to describe the page's contents for visitors and search engines.
Redirect to external webpage Enter a URI in this field if you wish to redirect the current page to a different URI. If this field is completed, the page's contents will be ignored (except when accessing it via the system or using Absolute URI) and all links to this page under the PAW site will be redirected. Clear the field and hit OK to remove.
Open Menu Item in New Browser Window: Checking this box causes the menu item to make the page popup in a new browser window.
Meta Tag Description for webpage The meta 'description' tag is sometimes referenced by online search engines to provide a meaningful description of your page. Learn more...
Meta Tag Keywords for webpage The meta 'keywords' tag may be used by online search engines to infer relevence of your site's content. Learn more...
